Publishing Content Manually
Is Killing Your Output.

Every hour your team spends formatting posts, uploading images, setting metadata, and fixing layouts is an hour not spent writing the next piece. The bottleneck isn't content — it's publishing.

"I copy the doc into WordPress, then spend 20 minutes fixing the formatting."

Every content team knows this. Paragraphs break, headings lose their hierarchy, images land in the wrong place. Manual cleanup on every single post.

→ Our system maps fields directly. Content lands clean, every time.

"Our writer delivers the content but publishing takes as long as writing it."

Uploading images, setting alt text, writing meta descriptions, configuring SEO settings, assigning categories, checking the layout. An hour of work after the writing is done.

→ All of that runs in 15 minutes, automatically.

"We have a content calendar but we're always behind on publishing."

The bottleneck isn't ideas or writers — it's the friction between a finished document and a published page. Slow publishing means your SEO investment compounds slower.

→ Faster publishing means faster ranking, faster ROI.

"Every page looks slightly different because we build them manually."

When publishing is manual, consistency suffers. Fonts, spacing, heading structure, image placement — small deviations that accumulate into an inconsistent site.

→ Every page renders from the same Elementor template. Always consistent.

A Publishing System Built
for Your Exact Stack.

Every system is custom-built for your WordPress site, your content structure, and your workflow. We don't sell a plugin — we build a system.

01

Custom ACF Field Architecture

We design a field structure that maps directly to your content — H1, introduction, body sections, trust elements, FAQ pairs, conclusion, and any other sections your pages need. Each field is registered for REST API access so publishing is fully automated.

02

Elementor Theme Builder Integration

We build a single Elementor template that renders all your pages consistently. Dynamic tags pull content from ACF fields automatically. Change the design once in the template — every published page updates instantly.

03

Automated publish.py Script

A command-line script that reads a structured content package and publishes the complete page — images uploaded and placed, metadata set, categories and tags assigned, SEO fields populated, and the page live in WordPress in under 15 minutes.

04

Writer Brief and Content System

We write a detailed brief for your content team — field-by-field instructions, word count targets, HTML formatting rules, and a JSON content package template. Writers deliver in the exact format the publishing system expects.

05

Image Automation

Featured images upload automatically with correct titles, alt text, and metadata. In-body image markers in the content package are replaced with correctly placed and sized images at publish time.

06

Rewrite and Migration Support

Existing pages built manually in Elementor can be migrated into the publishing system — preserving URLs, metadata, and rankings while moving content into ACF fields. The same publish script handles new pages and rewrites.

From Document to
Live Page — Three Steps.

Your writer delivers a structured document. The publishing system handles everything else.

01

Writer Delivers the Content Package

Your writer follows the brief we create — structured JSON with every field populated: headings, body sections, trust elements, FAQ pairs, SEO title and description, image specifications, categories, and tags. One file, everything the system needs.

02

Run the Publish Script

One command. The script uploads images, sets alt text, replaces image markers in the body, resolves and creates categories and tags, creates the WordPress post or page, writes all ACF field values, sets the page template, and clears Elementor's cache — automatically.

03

Review and Go Live

The page is created as a draft. Review it in WordPress — the Elementor template renders the content exactly as designed. Set AIOSEO metadata, check the preview, and publish. Total time: under 15 minutes from script run to live page.

From Manual Publishing to
15-Minute Deployment.

Four businesses, four custom publishing systems, one consistent result — content that used to take an hour to publish now takes 15 minutes.

SaniCarpet Cleaner
Carpet Cleaning · Seattle, WA · Blog Posts
75%
Time saved per post
15 min
Publish to live
The Challenge

SaniCarpet Cleaner needed a steady stream of SEO blog content to build organic search presence for their carpet cleaning services in the Seattle area. Their existing publishing workflow was entirely manual — writer delivers content, someone logs into WordPress, reformats everything, uploads images separately, sets metadata by hand, and builds the post layout. Start to finish: over an hour per post. With a content calendar to maintain, that manual overhead was the limiting factor on how much they could actually publish.

What We Built
Custom ACF field group for blog posts — H1 title, subtitle, introduction, post body, FAQ pairs (up to 15), and conclusion/CTA — all registered for REST API access
Elementor Theme Builder Single Post template with dynamic tags pulling content from each ACF field — one template rendering every post consistently
Automated publish.py script handling image upload with alt text, in-body image placement via {{IMAGE:Title}} markers, full ACF field population, and WordPress post creation in a single command
Empty FAQ slot hiding — unused FAQ accordion items are automatically suppressed via CSS injection so posts with fewer than 15 FAQs render cleanly
Writer brief with field-by-field instructions, HTML formatting rules, image specifications, and the JSON content package template
The Result

What previously took over an hour — reformatting, uploading, configuring, checking — now takes 15 minutes from content package to live post. The writer delivers a structured JSON file. One command handles everything else. The Elementor template ensures every post renders identically, with no layout variance between posts regardless of content length.

Rescue One Restoration
Property Damage Restoration · Oahu, Hawaii · Service Pages
75%
Time saved per page
15 min
Publish to live
The Challenge

Rescue One Restoration needed individual service pages for each of their restoration services — water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, storm flooding — each targeting specific Oahu search terms. Building these manually in Elementor meant an hour of work per page: writing in the page builder, manually placing content in widgets, uploading and positioning images, writing metadata in AIOSEO, and verifying the layout rendered correctly on mobile. With multiple service pages needed and existing pages requiring rewrites, manual publishing wasn't sustainable.

What We Built
Custom ACF field group for service pages — H1 title, introduction, intro to services, service description, five trust item pairs (title + plain text description), FAQ pairs (up to 10), and conclusion/CTA — 35 fields total
Custom page template (page-ror-service.php) registered in WordPress — Elementor Theme Builder condition tied to this template so the correct layout fires automatically for every service page
Per-page auto-condition hook in the plugin — when publish.py writes the page template meta, the page is automatically added to the Elementor Theme Builder conditions. No manual Elementor configuration needed per page
PowerPack Elements compatibility — trust items and FAQ hiding use confirmed .pp-info-list-item and .pp-faq-item selectors rather than standard Elementor selectors
Migration workflow for existing pages — existing Elementor-built pages can be rewritten and migrated into the ACF system via --page-id flag, preserving URLs and search rankings
The Result

New service pages and rewrites of existing pages both run through the same publish script. A page that previously took over an hour to build in Elementor — widget by widget, field by field — now takes 15 minutes from structured content package to live, SEO-ready page. The template handles all layout decisions. The writer handles all content decisions. The system handles the rest.

Oahu Island Private Tours
Private Tour Operator · Oahu, Hawaii · Blog Posts
75%
Time saved per post
15 min
Publish to live
The Challenge

Oahu Island Private Tours operates a blog covering Oahu activities, attractions, and travel guides — content designed to capture organic search traffic from visitors planning trips to Hawaii. Their blog runs on WordPress with Elementor, and they have a mix of existing posts built manually in the page builder and new posts to be written and published. The challenge: existing posts couldn't be disrupted — URLs and any existing search rankings had to be preserved — while the new publishing workflow needed to be fast enough to maintain a consistent content calendar.

What We Built
Custom ACF field group for blog posts — H1 title, H2 subtitle, introduction (~200 words), activity description part 1 (~400 words), activity description part 2, FAQ pairs (up to 15), and additional notes/CTA — 36 fields total
Per-post Elementor condition management — because not all posts on the site use the new template, conditions are assigned per post rather than site-wide. The plugin auto-adds each new post to the Theme Builder conditions when publish.py writes the first field, leaving existing posts completely unaffected
Really Simple Security compatibility fix — the site's security plugin blocked WordPress Application Passwords by default. The publishing plugin includes a targeted override that enables app passwords without weakening other security settings
Category and tag automation with creation — publish.py resolves category and tag names to IDs, creates new ones if they don't exist, and assigns them correctly. A Python for/else logic bug common in category resolution was identified and patched
Migration workflow for existing Elementor posts — existing posts are migrated by stripping Elementor data, assigning the new template, and running the publish script with the --post-id flag, preserving slugs and any search equity
The Result

New blog posts publish in 15 minutes. Existing posts can be rewritten and migrated without touching their URLs or search rankings. The per-post condition system means the publishing template only applies to posts built through the new system — the rest of the site is completely unaffected. Writers follow a structured brief, deliver a JSON content package, and the system handles everything from image upload to category assignment.

Handy Andy Hawaii
Handyman & Home Repair · Oahu, Hawaii · Service Pages
75%
Time saved per page
15 min
Publish to live
The Challenge

Handy Andy Hawaii needed individual service pages covering each of their handyman and home repair services — electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and more — each optimized for Oahu search terms. Their site runs WordPress with Elementor Pro on a DreamHost VPS, with a mix of new pages to publish and existing pages requiring rewrites. Two additional complications: the site's security plugin (Really Simple Security) was blocking the REST API authentication method the publishing system relies on, and the server required shell access configuration before agent-based deployment was possible.

What We Built
Custom ACF field group — H1 title, subtitle, introduction, service description part 1 (~700 words), service description part 2 (~400 words), five trust item pairs (plain text title + description), FAQ pairs (up to 10), and conclusion/CTA — 36 fields total
PowerPack Advanced Accordion compatibility — FAQ hiding uses the confirmed .pp-accordion-item selector, distinct from the .pp-faq-item selector used on other PowerPack sites. Trust item hiding uses .pp-info-list-item
Really Simple Security bypass — targeted Application Passwords override built into the publishing plugin, enabling REST API authentication without disabling other security features site-wide
SSH key authentication setup — server was configured for SFTP-only access by default. SSH key-based auth was established for agent-based deployment, replacing password-based access
Per-page auto-condition hook — same pattern as Rescue One and OIPT, ensuring the Elementor Theme Builder template applies only to pages published through the system, leaving existing pages unaffected
Writer brief with word count targets — section-by-section instructions with explicit targets (Introduction ~150 words, Service Desc Part 1 ~700 words, Part 2 ~400 words, trust items ~75–100 words each) so writers deliver exactly what the system and the page layout expect
The Result

New service pages and rewrites both run through the same publish script. The system resolved three separate technical blockers — server access, security plugin interference, and accordion widget selector differences — without requiring any changes to the client's existing WordPress setup. What previously required manual Elementor page building, widget-by-widget, for over an hour now takes 15 minutes from structured content package to live, indexed service page.

Questions About
Content Publishing Automation

Does this work with my existing WordPress site?
Yes. The system is built on top of your existing WordPress installation — it doesn't require a theme change, a platform migration, or any disruption to pages that aren't being published through the new system. Existing pages stay exactly as they are.
Do I need Elementor Pro?
Yes. The system uses Elementor Pro's Theme Builder and Dynamic Tags to render content from ACF fields. If you're not on Elementor Pro, we can discuss architecture alternatives during the discovery call.
What does my writer need to deliver?
A structured JSON content package — we write a detailed brief that explains exactly what to include in each field, what format to use, and what the output should look like. Writers who follow the brief produce packages that publish without any back-and-forth.
Can existing pages be migrated into the system?
Yes. The publish script supports a rewrite mode that takes an existing page ID, strips its Elementor data, assigns the new template, and publishes the rewritten content — preserving the original URL and any search equity it has built.
What if my site uses a different page builder or security plugin?
We've built systems on sites with PowerPack Elements, Really Simple Security, SiteGround hosting, DreamHost VPS, and various theme configurations. Compatibility issues are the rule, not the exception — solving them is part of the build.
Is this a monthly service?
No. Content Publishing Automation is a one-time build. You pay once, own the system, and run it yourself. We're available for maintenance, updates, or adding new content types if your needs change — but there's no ongoing retainer required.
